Dear Eat Mexico Friends,
On March 11 the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Since then, the outbreak has evolved rapidly with many governments around the world taking swift action to slow the spread of the virus.
At Eat Mexico, our number one priority is the health and safety of our clients, vendors and team members and so we feel it is our responsibility to play a part in helping to put an end to the spread of Coronavirus. This is why we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause our operations until April 30th this year.
If you have a tour booked with us during the month of March or April, please be assured that our team will be reaching out to you shortly to offer you a tour credit or a full refund.
If you have booked a tour with us from May onward, we will be closely monitoring the situation and any changes will be communicated immediately. We hope to soon be able to resume offering our tours in a safe environment.
As we live through these uncertain times, most of us will be faced with some very challenging days to come, in particular, small businesses that depend on their day-to-day activity in order to survive. At Eat Mexico, most of the vendors and partners we have been working with for years, are small, local, family-run operations that count on the support of our presence.
If you’re still considering traveling to Mexico City in the near future, but are waiting to decide on a date, please help support us and the local businesses we work with by purchasing a gift certificate. Our gift certificates do not have an expiry date so you can use them at any time. This will help secure that in the future we continue to serve our customers as well as support our team members, vendors and partners.
Another way you can help support us if you recently took a tour with us is by leaving us a review on TripAdvisor, Google review, Yelp, or Facebook, which is where a big part of our clients find us.
Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times and we hope to be able to share some of Mexico’s most popular foods with you shortly!
Yours in happy eating,
The Eat Mexico Team
